Senior Make-up Day - Saturday, May 20, 7:30 - 11:00 am

How did the February 14 snow day affect seniors and graduation?
We are required by the State of Washington to have 175 school days for our seniors and 180 school days for all other students. While we have adjusted the school calendar to meet the 180-day requirement for K-11 students in TSD, our graduation date of June 15 will remain the same. This means our senior students (only seniors) will need to attend a Saturday School to meet our 175-day requirement. Some of you may recall this same thing occurred back in 2017 due to inclement weather. It will be held Saturday, May 20.

What will Saturday, May 20 7:30-11:00 AM look like for senior students? This day will assist our seniors in their final preparations for the Senior Presentations which will be held on Friday, May 26. All seniors will do their Senior Presentation for a group of students and adults and will receive feedback. In addition, seniors will be given time to complete the senior survey conducted each year. Learn more about Senior Presentations here.

Will there be transportation available? Yes!  Senior students can drive, be dropped off, walk, or take a school bus. Our amazing transportation department will build bus routes based on those who need transportation. If your student will need transportation on Saturday, May 20 for Senior Saturday School, please click on this link and take the survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/JWCFYS7

Which teachers will be present for Senior Saturday?  Our amazing AGGI teachers will all be present to support our seniors on this day. In addition, we will have support staff to ensure all needs are being met.
