Reading II
In this class students will use both basic reading skills and reading comprehension strategies. The key ideas are around these 6 Steps; Step 1 - Phonemic Awareness and Phonics, Step 2 - Word Recognition and Spelling, Step 3 - Vocabulary and Morphology, Step 4 - Grammar and Usage, Step 5 - Listening and Reading Comprehension and Step 6 - Speaking and Writing. This class will use the Language! reading curriculum Book E. More information can be found in the class syllabus. 

Reading III

Fundamental Algebra A
In this class students will use both basic skills and problem solving strategies.  The key ideas are solving equations & inequalities, linear equations & functions, systems, exponents, polynomials, factoring, quadratics, and problem solving. More information can be found in the class syllabus.
