Spanish 1
In this class students will learn the basics of the language to help them communicate in the present tense in reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Students will discuss greetings & goodbyes, identifying themselves and others, expressing courtesy, classroom & academic life, days and months, class schedules, family, professions, favorite activities, and places in a city. This class will help improve students' understanding of grammar & syntax in both native and target languages and encourage openness to & respect for other cultures.
