Sports Med 2
Sports Medicine 2 is a career-based preparatory course, in which students follow a rigorous one-year curriculum in a medical team format. Curriculum includes medical office protocols, healthcare system philosophy, management structures and components. Instruction focuses on blood borne pathogen prevention standards, anatomy and physiology, decision making skills based on scenarios and decisions about pathology. Students gain practical experience in treatment of common sports injuries, injury prevention and diagnosis and the philosophies of treating athletes. SPORTS MED 1 IS A PREREQUISITE FOR THIS COURSE.
